NASCAR is not leaving any stones unturned in making Jimmie Johnson’s last ride a memorable one. When a driver like Jimmie retires, tributes tend to pour in.

Race tracks immortalized Jimmie Johnson by naming various stands or entryways after him. In fact, the Atlanta Motor Speedway has named a tower after him.

After seeing this, NASCAR has asked Johnson’s fans to name as many things as possible after him.

NASCAR writes, “When you have decided what you will be naming after Jimmie, tweet it to myself, @nascarcasm, using the hashtag #NamedAfterJimmie.

“Also, there must be signage. It can be a label from a common household label maker, a printout attached with tape, or scrawled on a Post-It note. We’ll aggregate and share several of them on NASCAR.com in a few weeks’ time.

“You can read them on your Jimmie Johnson Commemorative Tablet or Jimmie Johnson Honorary Laptop.”

He has won 83 races, including a couple of Daytona 500 triumphs. His last win was the 2019 Busch Clash at Daytona.

Johnson has not won a Cup Series race since the 2017 season. He tested positive for COVID-19. As a result, he had to miss the NASCAR race at Indianapolis. As of now, Johnson is 25 points behind William Byron for a playoff seat.

Brett Moffitt and GMS Racing are set to pay homage to Johnson with exceptional paint design. Johnson’s truck will reflect the 2007 Lowe’s No. 48 attire.
