It is no surprise that Bubba Wallace blames himself a lot more than others do. We saw that at last week’s race at Michigan too, where he finished in second place.

Wallace was upset that he could not take the win and began blaming himself, mentioning that he failed everyone.

Recently, however, Bubba Wallace’s spotter revealed what he told Wallace during the race.

During the Dirty Mo Media podcast, Casey Boat mentions Wallace’s quote from a post-race interview, in which he had stated, “Sorry, I f**cking failed y’all.”

In response to that Wallace’s spotter, Freddie Kraft says, “Yeah, kinda like what I told to him during the race when he said it. I told him to shut up.”

“That was a phenomenal weekend for him and I know, listen, Bubba is his own worst critic. He’s just Bubba being Bubba. I’ve dealt with it forever and it’s frustrating on my end because I know how much he wants to win but I tried to reiterate this to him on Saturday night where this is exactly what we needed to do.”

“But it’s hard to listen to when I’m so proud of him and he’s like beating himself up.”

Following up after Kraft’s comments, fellow spotter, TJ Majors says, “He’s getting out of the car and he’s feeling so much pressure, is being the only black guy in the race. He’s feeling so much pressure as I’ve gotta win and get into this playoffs.”

“He’s feeling so much pressure from his sponsors. He’s feeling so much pressure to be in this car for a long time.”

Kraft continued, “I shouldn’t say this, But I don’t give a shit about the playoffs. I just wanna continue to build, like I don’t know if we can go and win a championship. So if I can’t win the championship I don’t know about to give a shit about being in the playoffs.”
