The love for motorsports like NASCAR knows no bounds, and the American audience has rightfully proved that valid on several occasions. Be it donning their admired drivers’ racing suits or keeping a souvenir like a die-cast model car of NASCAR, the fans have never shied away from keeping the sport close to their hearts. But what’s up for grabs now?

The craze for die-cast cars isn’t bound to the fans only. Even Bubba Wallace was once left mesmerized when he witnessed an avid fan’s die-cast collection. This time, however, another jaw-dropping revelation has surfaced featuring Niece Motorsports’ 2024 driver Matt Mills and his sleek #42 scale model, which is now up for sale!

Matt Mills is no stranger to the NASCAR scene. Having started across the NASCAR Cup Series, the Xfinity Series, and the Truck Series since 2016, has made him quite experienced on the track, not to forget that he has 23 Truck starts under his belt. His racing prowess surfaced when he clinched P5 on his very first Truck Series race for Kyle Busch Motorsports at the Richmond Raceway.

His impressive cameo at KBM paved the way for his full-time 2024 Truck Series seat with Niece Motorsports as their former driver, Carson Hocevar, signed up with Spire Motorsports. Following his confirmed seat for the 2024 season, die-cast maker, Lionel Racing, took to X and unveiled Mills’ upcoming truck’s die-cast and wrote, “The 42 is looking to make this season electric. Pre-orders are now open for the No. 42 Matt Mills J.F. Electric die-cast!” The #42 J.F. Electric die-cast, despite being for only $63, has carved a special place in Mills and fans’ hearts alike.

Just like any other die-cast model out there, the #42 truck is quite similar. However, the thing to ponder upon is that the color combination of Matt Mills’ name embossed on the window’s top frame directly correlates with the #42 and the entire bottom half of the car, from bumper to tail. Adding to it, the car’s paint scheme unveils a ton of sponsors that are backing Mills’ full-time Truck Series venture. Therefore, $63 for a die-cast model of a promising NASCAR driver might not seem like a hefty purchase.

The $63 die-cast model is undoubtedly a good bargain as, once the revelation was made, the fans wasted no time and expressed their unwavering excitement for the #42 Chevrolet to go on sale.
