Although considered a second-tier series compared to the Cup, the Xfinity Series races are no less exciting. Come the 1st of July, NASCAR will hit the streets of Chicago with its Xfinity Series race. The Loop 121 event at Chicago Street Course will see Xfinity drivers trade paint in the 55-lap race, covering 121 miles in total, followed by the Grand Park 220 Cup Series race.

Last week. Jimmie Johnson had fans mesmerized with the reveal of his Cup Series car’s new paint scheme for Chicago, and now Kaulig Racing has delivered a shocker.

In a recent development, Kaulig Racing put out a video on Twitter, setting the NASCAR world ablaze with excitement. “Bet you didn’t see this one comin,” read the caption, with the video revealing Ross Chastain’s Trackhouse Racing Team co-owner, Justin Marks, as the driver for their #10 Jockey Chevy. Former NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Series driver himself, Justin Marks will once again return to the tracks at The 121 Loop, joining his team driver Ross Chastain in Chicago.

“It’s very difficult to retire as a race car driver, I’ve got a lot of experience on street courses, so when NASCAR announced it was going to Chicago, I just felt like I really had to be a part of that experience,” said Justin Marks, speaking to Motorsports.com

The Trackhouse Racing co-owner further added, “We have a great relationship with Kaulig Racing through our pit crew department and being a fellow Chevrolet team, so making my return to racing with the team just felt right. Jockey coming on board makes it even more enticing to run well in Chicago.”
