Bud Moore’s name is legendary in NASCAR, thanks to his role as a crew chief and team owner, who has bagged two Grand National Series championships and 63 race wins. His son, Greg Moore, stepped into his dad’s big shoes and played a huge part in keeping Bud Moore Engineering at the top of its game as a team consultant and manager until the team closed its doors. The team saw some great successes when Joe Weatherly snagged Cup titles for the team in 1962 and 1963, thanks to their hard work.
