Recently, the NASCAR Xfinity Series race in Atlanta concluded with Justin Allgaier as the winner. While Allgaier gained 57 points from this win, Austin continued to lead the championship standings. He is currently on 277 points, with a 46-point lead over Daniel Hemric.

Speaking of Hemric, his dramatic pit lane incident probably cost him a good finish. Although he finished in ninth place, he did just enough to stay in second place in the championship. Meanwhile, Harrison Burton lies third on 212 points, 19 points away from Hemric.

Rounding out the top five are AJ Allmendinger on 194 points and Justin Haley, who is one point adrift of him. In sixth place is Jeb Burton on 187 points, just six points away from Haley. Myatt Snider, Atlanta race winner Justin Allgaier, Jeremy Clements, and Brandon Jones complete the top 10. Snider has amassed 179 points, with Allgaier on 171, Clements on 165, and Jones on 155.

How does the rest of the NASCAR Xfinity Series pack stack up?

Brandon Brown sits in 11th place with 142 points on the scoreboard. Meanwhile, Riley Herbst has amassed 135 points under his belt. Michael Annett, Noah Gragson, Landon Cassill, and Tommy Joe Martins make up the top 16.

Annett is one point adrift off Herbst, with Gragson 20 points away, Cassill two points behind him, and Martins on 106 points. Meanwhile, Josh Williams is the final driver in triple digits.

After the Atlanta race, the Xfinity Series drivers get some respite before their next race. Admittedly, they will not be racing on the Bristol dirt, but will head to the Martinsville Speedway. This particular race will take place on April 9, so this was their final race for the month of March.

Austin Cindric finally snapped his dream run when he finished in 13th at Atlanta. However, he has done enough to ensure that he has a healthy lead in the NASCAR Xfinity Series championship.
