Motorsports fans are in for a treat. The inaugural ASA STARS national tour Platinum Program will feature arguably one of the biggest attractions in Super Late Model racing, with Bubba Pollard signing on to compete in all 12 races for 2025. The 37-year-old will join a long list of racers who will be part of the ‘Platinum Program presented by Rackley Roofing’, which will replace the winner’s circle program that has existed for the last two years.
The loyalty scheme has been meticulously designed to increase participation in the Super Late Model tour, with several teams running the full season in exchange for financial incentives. Will Pollard live up to the expectations at the 2025 ASA STARS National Tour season? Time will tell.

NASCAR’s Bubba Pollard is excited about the Platinum Program
The stage is set for Bubba Pollard. Considered one of the top Super Late Model competitors, the Georgia native has built quite a reputation after securing wins at events such as Oxford 250, Slinger Nationals, Joe Shear Classic, Winter Showdown, and SpeedFest. Over the last two years, the racing driver has secured two wins and achieved seven top-10 finishes, finishing fourth in the series in 2023. As things stand, he is all set to compete at the fourth consecutive Protect Your Melon – Buckle Up SpeedFest, which will take place at Cordele Motor Speedway on January 17th and 18th.
Sharing his thoughts about being a part of the ‘Platinum Program presented by Rackley Roofing’, Bubba Pollard said, “The ASA STARS have heard the teams and drivers and developed a great program which will allow me to compete against some of the best in the country. I’m excited to be part of the ASA Stars National Platinum Program.” Some of the drivers he will compete against include the likes of Gavan Boschele, Cole Butcher, Austin Nason, Chase Pinsonneault, Dawson Sutton, Derek Thorn, and Billy VanMeter.
If that wasn’t all, Rette Jones Racing has also signed up for the Platinum Program along with Donnie Wilson Motorsports’ third entry. Valued at an estimated $655,000, a 925% increase from the winner’s circle program, the goal of the loyalty scheme is to encourage race teams to compete for the entire season in exchange for financial benefits. Apart from a million dollars in total race purses, the championship purse will also amount to $100,000, which will go a long way in attracting and retaining talent.

Sharing his thoughts on the ASA STARS national tour Platinum Program, Track Enterprises CEO Bob Sargent said, “Everyone has been working hard for two years to get to this point. We are all in this together, our teams, partners, and my staff, and our goal is to continue to grow our national touring platform along with the ASA brand and this is a huge step.” With a driver as experienced as Bubba Pollard joining in, the interest level from fans has skyrocketed ahead of the opening race at New Smyrna Speedway on February 11th.

National tour director hails loyalty scheme initiative
It all began with Stephen Nasse. The 29-year-old racing driver failed to qualify for the main event in the second race at Madison International Speedway in Wisconsin, which forced the Platinum Program to come into existence. The Florida-based racer was aiming to compete in every race that season, but he didn’t because there was little reason to if he wasn’t eligible for the championship. Although the new loyalty scheme was devised as a response to Nasse’s situation, it also required teams to commit to the program upfront.
National tour director Marty Melo believes the current format provides more value for fans, who are attending races or streaming the events from their homes. He said, “It’s our goal to see Asphalt Super Late Model team owners and drivers succeed so they can provide our fans and partners with exciting racing every time they unload at the racetrack, and the best way to do that is by supporting them as much as we can. That’s why we are beyond excited for 2025 to have a strong $100,000 points fund, increased purse payouts to over one million dollars, and increase our Platinum Program immensely.”

As part of the loyalty scheme, each team will get free entry for all 12 events, helping them save $200 per race. They will also get four pit passes per event, as well as two annual subscriptions to Track TV. If that wasn’t enough, every team owner/car number will also get a 30-second commercial on Track TV, along with one social media post per month featuring the team and its partner. These are just some of the few benefits that stakeholders will enjoy as part of the ‘Platinum Program presented by Rackley Roofing’.
