She wrote on social media, “In what seems to be the unfortunate theme of 2020, I can’t make my last race of the year with Ave Motorsports because I have tested positive for Covid. This has been a roller coaster year with many set backs but nothing will break me!”

Apparently, she had tested positive a few days ago but chose to come forward with the news only recently. Obviously, Natalie Decker is gutted, as she wanted to end the year on a high note.

This isn’t the first time Natalie Decker has suffered medical complications this year

Throughout the 2020 season, Decker has been plagued by medical trouble. As it turns out, she had a gallbladder surgery in December 2019, which put her out of commission for a while.

Owing to this, Natalie Decker was forced to miss a handful of races at a stretch. To make matters worse, she suffered from a few complications regarding her bile duct.

Other issues also arose, regarding her blood pressure and heart rate. That particular problem forced her to pull out of the race in Las Vegas at the last moment. Decker even stayed away from social media for a while. Now she will be raring to go once she has fully recovered from the COVID-19 virus.
