What do Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch, Kyle Larson, Chase Elliott, and half of the rest of the grid share in common? Well, that would be their united arch-enemy, Ross Chastain. The watermelon man has been infamous this season in his quest to turn everyone against him thanks to his on-track shenanigans. Denny Hamlin was recently asked a question about which version of Chastain he would prefer to fight and his response sent the fans into a frenzy.

Hamlin got the question stating, “Would you rather fight, one Ross Chastain-sized watermelon or 100 watermel0n-sized Ross Chastain.” In response, Hamlin stated, “I’ll just take one Chastain, please.”

As hilarious as that question sounds, in a hypothetical universe, a single Chastain-sized watermelon would be extremely hard to beat. Imagine dealing with 100 tiny watermelons with Chastain’s face on it, smiling back at you.

Fans took Denny Hamlin’s response in good humor and supported his choice to fight that one single Chastain-sized watermelon.

Fans were generally agreeing with what the Joe Gibbs Racing driver had to say regarding that question. One fan asked Hamlin to be careful of what he chooses since if a giant angry Chastain-sized watermelon showed up there could be a possibility of him being squashed under it and imprinted on our memories and Chastian’s bum at the same time. Another stated that Hamlin had spoken “words of wisdom” with his response. Yet another fan thought that Hamlin was certainly not incorrect with his answer regarding the infamous driver for the number 1 car.
