Alex Bowman drops a hilarious clip as his “unexpected ally” gets stuck in his #48 Ally-powered HMS car

NASCAR fans surely know how tight the situation inside a Cup Series car is. In order to reduce the overall weight of the car, these machines certainly aren’t suited for the common man. They don’t usually come with creature comforts like air conditioning, or music systems. In fact, they don’t even have doors!

All they are equipped with is a stupendously overpowered engine, and a lightweight body panel wrapped around a steel tube chassis. For the driver, he gets a bucket seat with a state-of-the-art safety harness that is cocooned inside a roll cage. To put things into layman’s terms, getting in and out of the car itself is a task for the unaccustomed. And Detroit Pistons’ Small forward/Shooting guard, Isaiah Livers, found out that the hard way.

Though the 25-year-old somehow managed to get inside Alex Bowman’s HMS Chevy, he just couldn’t get out of it as easily. “I dont think I can get out of this,” said the 6’6 player sharing his skepticism as he struggled to get out while Bowman gave the NBA star some motivation. Moments later, reality came crashing down on the star who relayed to his friend, You’re getting me out of this car, man. You’re getting me out.”

The brief back and forth between the 2 had the community on the floor laughing with Bowman later ending the short clip, saying, “Alright, well, that’s a wrap, ladies and gentlemen. See you Sunday,” leaving the Pistons star inside the tight confines of the car.

Though Bowman is one of the 2 drivers from the HMS camp who missed the playoff this season, the other being the 2020 Cup Series champion, Chase Elliott, he still has his ways of capturing the fans’ attention. His Unexpected Allies, a feature has been a runaway hit.

After his first episode of the short series featured Charlotte FC Defender, Christian Fuchs, his latest episode with the NBA star certainly has caught the community’s eye. His sponsor, Ally is one of many that commented on the driver’s hilarious post while the Instagram page of the Detroit Pistons cheeky asked their player, “You good man?”

Soon after, fans jumped the scene with one user demanding he need more videos of the two riding along. We need videos of Isiah riding along with Alex for random adventures., with Finn of course.”

Another fan resorted to sarcasm, and said, He never got out. Now he’s stuck driving the rest of the season.”
