Michael Jordan is not just a basketball legend, but a lifestyle and NASCAR mogul too! Owning a piece from Michael Jordan’s collection, be it from his NASCAR team (partnership/being his driver) or his high-end apparel and footwear line, is akin to possessing a slice of luxury. With relentless innovation in design, Jordan’s brand remains unassailably at the pinnacle of fashion. But now, it seems a different market giant has outdone Jumpman with a creation so remarkable that a Spire Motorsports driver couldn’t help but sing praise of the footwear.

A Footwear Feud in the Fast Lane!

In past seasons, the brand worth over $10 Billion had its creative genius shining brightly with the No. 45 driver, Reddick, donning designs reminiscent of their iconic sneakers. Amplifying their cool factor was a touch of star power from global music sensation J Balvin.

Looking at all of this, Corey LaJoie saw the perfect opportunity to stir the pot. Flaunting his new footwear in a cheeky Twitter video, he playfully jabbed at Wallace and Reddick for their footwear choices.

He boasted, “I got something to say. Every week Tyler Reddick shows up to the garage—him and Bubba—oh, you got the new Air Jordans, got the 12s, got the J. Balvin, collabs. You know what they don’t have? They don’t have these (pointing towards his footwear).”

“They ain’t got the toe maters. Mmmm, toe hook on the back. Step up that shoe game,” he said, after showing off his new mater classic Crocs.

Tyler Reddick’s exclusive perks of being associated with the great Michael Jordan

Tyler Reddick isn’t just racing for victory; he’s doing it with unmatched flair, thanks to his association with basketball luminary Michael Jordan’s racing team.

A few weeks ago, in the glitz and glamor of Las Vegas, Reddick showcased one of the most iconic liveries the racing world has witnessed in ages. Celebrating his triumphant move to the round of 8 in the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs, 23XI adorned Reddick’s No. 45 with a design deeply influenced by the Retro Jordan 8 sneaker.

This wasn’t a mere replication of any specific Jordan 8 design but drew significant inspiration, especially from the Aqua colorway, one of the initial three shades launched with the sneaker back in the nostalgic ’90s.

The car radiated a distinctive ’90s aura, punctuated with lively colors, chic patterns, and the iconic Jumpman logo gracing both the hood and sides. Interestingly, while most racing cars are known for their overwhelming sponsor logos, this particular design took a more modest route. The Jumpman remained the centerpiece, with other sponsor emblems considerably minimized, offering a refreshing departure from the norm.
