In case you have been following Danny Hamlin for some time, you must be aware of his love for Sneakers. Well, not just any sneakers, Jordans! In the past, fans have seen him wearing them for a good cause. And how can we forget ‘The Air Jordan 1 Racer’ which was based on Hamlin’s own purple and orange paint scheme? If that is not fascinating enough, we even saw Hamlin once flaunt a few pairs of kicks on social media before, which were apparently a gift from none other than his business partner and the legend behind the brand itself, Michal Jordan. But as it turns out, nothing (till now) came close to actually justifying the obsession Hamlin has for the Jumpman brand. 

Denny Hamlin makes his shoe collection the talk of the town

The 23XI Racing co-owner took to social media, once again, to show off his jaw-dropping collection. Fans were stunned by the sheer number of shoes that were covered in a sped-up full 1-minute video. Hamlin flaunting his Jordans is the perfect crossover event that we all crave to see. In a way, it also reinforces the close bond between Jordan and Hamlin – both running the 23XI Racing together.

He posted a video on Instagram that started with him saying, “You’ve probably seen a few, but definitely not all. This is my full Jordan collection”. Then all his treasured Jordan collectibles of various colors show up on the screen, in sync with a powerful violin piece in the background. For the caption, he wrote, “Every @jumpman23 sneaker in my collection 👀”.

Fans did not hesitate to respond and shower the video with stunned reactions. One user said, “Jordans + Hoarder = Joarder”, while another fan requested, “let me get a pair of”. Hamlin’s wife, Jordan Fish, cracked a joke while referring to her similarity with the shoe brand name: “I didn’t make the cut 😂”.

This video reminds us of the bond between Denny Hamlin and Michael Jordan- forged way before the 23XI Racing venture. Although Jordan is a basketball legend and Hamlin is a racer, the latter has admitted getting inspired by the powerful attitude of Jordan. “He’s got such a ferocity,” he said as per NBC Sports.

“He’s a person not trying to be anyone’s friend out there, he’s trying to do what’s best for him and best for his team.” Hamlin said he has emulated this unique characteristic of Jordan in his sport. He said, “I think you’ve seen kind of with my driving style lately. I’ve shifted into the more selfish mode.”

Not the first time Hamlin’s Jordans rocked the internet

Denny Hamlin has boasted about his Jordan sneakers several times on the internet. In 2022, he dropped a sneaker collection on an Instagram video. His fans were particularly enthralled by his Air Jordan Fleet of Air Jordan 1s.

In 2021, as we mentioned earlier, a pair of Jordan shoes was designed especially for Hamlin. Instead of catering to the usual wooden basketball courts, these kicks were meant for asphalt tracks. The Air Jordan 1 Racer PE shoes were built giving priority to heat protection, flexibility, and comfort for both on and off the racing tracks.

Who would have thought Denny Hamlin would be such a huge sneakerhead?
