Moreover, MJ’s team also set an amazing precedent in terms of branding by achieving the milestone of being one of the top teams in terms of sponsorship revenue, despite being merely three years into the sport. Recently, Dale Earnhardt Jr‘s sister Kelley acknowledged the 23XI Racing team’s $30 million sponsorship milestone while shedding light on the significance of the Earnhardt name in NASCAR.

In the recent iteration of The Dale Jr. Download podcast, Kelley Earnhardt Miller pointed out how quickly 23XI Racing has become a huge brand in NASCAR and has been key to bringing new sponsors into the sport. Moreover, the 50-year-old said, “So, you talked about performance and that mindset in our sport which you know is the epitome of what we do.”

She added, “And one of the things that Mike and I were talking and tossing around is kind of, in my series, this is kind of performance for the team and everyone going for the 23 XI logo in the end brand superstars. And how you go about managing that from your aspect.”

Michael Jordan’s De Facto Consultant Kurt Busch Makes Blunt Admission in an Assessment of 23XI Racing

Kelley Earnhardt Miller seemed to be in awe of the demand and popularity 23XI Racing has in the Xfinity series. She praised Michael Jordan’s team for how they have been able to succeed in branding drivers and getting so many sponsors. It is this keenness among sponsors to work with 23XI Racing that grossed them a sponsor revenue of $30 million for this year.

Kelley sheds light on the importance of the Earnhardt name

During the conversations, Kelley Earnhardt Miller tried to get a deeper understanding of the branding aspect of 23 XI Racing while detailing how the Earnhardt name has been helpful for JR Motorsports in Xfinity Series.

The JR Motorsports co-owner revealed, “And I, from Junior Motorsports obviously, having Dale Jr a part of the team and having that Earnhardt family and that legacy really helps us. But we’re in, we’re the stepping stone series. And so, I don’t necessarily think we run into that so much as Cup teams can in terms of building your brand and building 23 XI.”
