During the recent playoff race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Earnhardt Jr. made a mistake while calling the incident of Daniel Suarez spinning and going through the grass while he battled with Tyler Reddick.

As a fan pointed out, Dale Jr, “Got so excited he said ‘8 of Briscoe’ twice.”
In his defense, the former Hendrick Motorsports driver replied, “My “pal” @RickAllenracing didn’t tell me I was doing that till after the race. So next time he has a booger in his nose I ain’t sayin 💩.”

It has been floating in the river of mainstream NASCAR speculations whether or not Dale Earnhardt Jr. will take his JR Motorsports up to the Cup Series. However, Dale Jr’s plans are on hold until further notice.
“One of the things that’s interesting for me is that I’m a potential owner in the [NASCAR] Cup Series. JR Motorsports could be a future owner in the Series and we are actively out here, like a lot of other new owners that are talking to these teams about what these Charters are worth, who’s willing to sell one, how do we become an owner.” Earnhardt Jr. opened up on his podcast.

The Hall of Famer revealed that when the recent Race Team Alliance news got to his ears, it made him hit the pause button on his Cup dreams.

“RTA is basically telling me this Charter I want to buy is a losing proposition, or not a money-making — it’s broken,” he said. “I don’t want to buy this Charter now, because it’s not a successful business venture.”
