Kids these days are sharp as tacks, much more so than we were at their age. Need proof? Just check out the latest scoop on Denny Hamlin. His daughter, Molly, recently showed off her NFL knowledge, and, believe it or not, she totally aced it. Even Denny himself was taken aback.

In the background, you could hear Denny Hamlin’s girlfriend, Jordan Fish, cheering on her daughter. She was all praises, lauding Molly for knocking those answers out of the park.

Just a day ago, Denny Hamlin shared a couple of Instagram stories where a buddy was testing Molly’s NFL team preferences. And boy, did she have her answers ready! “Texans or Jaguars?” he asked. “Texans,” she fired back without skipping a beat. When it came down to choosing between the Cincinnati Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers, the Bengals were her pick. She didn’t even wait to hear “Titans” before choosing Panthers over them. The pattern continued: Buccaneers over Colts, Falcons over Saints, and the list went on.

Listening to Molly’s confident and rapid-fire answers, Denny couldn’t help but express his amazement. He was clearly impressed, saying, “I think she might have a clean sweep here. […] Wow, she might be smarter than we think.” And why not? After all, she is Denny Hamlin’s daughter – the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree in terms of smarts!

It looks like Denny doesn’t even need to rib his friends anymore; his six-year-old is more than capable of showing them up. Just the other day, he posted a video where he was teasing a friend after their favorite team, Ohio State, lost a match. But given Molly’s sharpness, she could probably take over the reins from her dad when it comes to discussing NFL games with the grown-ups. She’s certainly showing she’s got a mind for it!

The stage was set for the Ohio State Buckeyes vs. Michigan Wolverines showdown, and Denny Hamlin’s friend Charlie Wend was all-in for Ohio. But, as fate would have it, the Buckeyes didn’t come out on top, leaving Charlie a bit heartbroken. Hamlin, seizing the moment, decided to have a little fun at his friend’s expense on Instagram.

He kicked things off with a story set to the somber strains of “R.E.M. – Everybody Hurts,” showing Charlie looking like he’d cry. Then, in true Hamlin style, he turned up the heat with some playful ribbing. “So, you are no longer a Football school huh?” he teased. Charlie, not in the mood for the spotlight, brushed it off with, “I am not talking in front of the camera.” But Hamlin, always one to push the envelope, couldn’t resist another jab, laughing as he asked, “You are a women’s college basketball team now?”
