The first three races of Tony Stewart‘s SRX Series have witnessed a fair share of drama and on-track incidents. In the first few races, several cars suffered brake issues and Tony Stewart received a lot of heat regarding this. Paul Tracy’s antics cause huge chaos, taking Hailie Deegan and Ken Schrader with him

Paul Tracy’s driving ended up taking Hailie Deegan, Josef Newgarden, and Ken Schrader out of the race. In the very last section of the race, Tracy ended up pushing Newgarden right into the wall on the exit of turn 4. They made a huge contact and ended up taking Deegan and Schrader who were right behind them.

A caution was brought out after the incident. Upon restart, all the race cars involved in the incident except Deegan retired due to significant damage. The damage was not only painful for the drivers, but also for the FURY team members that build and repair the cars.

Right after the incident, Ken Schrader, one of the cleanest and calmest racers, was so frustrated that he declared that he would never race with Tracy again.

On the other hand, Tracy tried defending his move by saying, “I mean, Newgarden and I were bouncing off each other for a couple of laps. I got a nose ahead of him, a half a car length ahead of him, and I just got hooked and turned sideways on the straightaway,”
