Jeff Gordon entered fatherhood on June 20, 2007, as the four-time champ announced the arrival of daughter Ella Sofia Gordon with his wife, Ingrid Vandeboesch. Ever since birth, the spotlight has constantly been on Ella, enchanting fans with her signature personality and half-and-half charm, courtesy of her iconic parents.

Nevertheless, on Hendrick Motorsports’ 40th anniversary, young Ella turns 17 years old. Although a stint behind the wheel is currently on pause for educational reasons, a couple of pictures shared by her mother on Twitter have left NASCAR fans racing back to the glory days of the yesteryears.

Mama Ingrid shared two astonishing pictures of her teenage daughter in a heartwarming gesture recently, captioning the post: “Not so little anymore,” with a smiley-face emoji accompanying her update.

Ella is now all grown up and, as @investigatormc rightfully observed. “She is legitimately a 50/50 split between you and Jeff. Beautiful girl.

Fans were ecstatic over how fast the time had passed, as one reply had a very emotional connection to the Gordon family. It read, “Great to hear. Ella was born the year I started watching Jeff Gordon race in 2007.”

A trip down memory lane was well in due time for the mother-daughter duo, as another fan heartfully wrote, Ingrid, you’re making us well up in tears here. I don’t care if she’s 16 going on 17, she’s still your little baby girl. It’s also making me realize that my youngest sister probably resembles her, because Ella is precisely one week older than my youngest sister…”

From experiencing the demanding garages of Hendrick Motorsports, to accompanying her father en route to a Hall of Fame career, Ella has truly seen it all from a tender young age. This reply from @Brittney2448 perfectly emphasized the sentiment in grateful regard, “Nooo where did the time go! She’s so beautiful! You and Jeff did an amazing job raising her. Thank you for sharing your photos and memories with us fans. We appreciate you”

NASCAR’s “not so little” princess got her first start in a quarter midget when she was only six years old in 2014. Her younger brother Leo Benjamin Gordon followed behind in 2017 at the age of seven. The following year, young Leo received his official racing certificate. Now 13 years of age, the budding speedster and his elder sister may harbor dreams of following in the footsteps of their iconic father.
