NASCAR driver for Wood Brothers Racing, Harrison Burton recently took to Twitter to explain something fans noticed. Burton had shared a video after the IMSA race in which he showed off his missing tooth.

But even if he hadn’t done so, anyone would’ve still noticed the missing element. Anyway, as it turns out, his tooth was bound to give up sooner or later, at least that’s what his explanation explains.

Burton wrote, “For everyone wondering I broke my tooth as a little kid and the glue holding it together decided to give out last night eating dinner. Perfect timing for our @IMSA race today!”

The 21-year-old driver who comes from a family of drivers with NASCAR history broke onto the scene when he signed for the longest operating team in NASCAR today.

This is something Burton admits is “a big responsibility”, carrying the legacy and doing it the right way. He described why external pressure doesn’t really affect his mentality.

“I think all drivers want to be the winner. We all want to do the best we can and I think that personality is the same with Wood Brothers and we’re all aligned with our goals,” he said.
