Parker Kligerman is undoubtedly a familiar name around the Xfinity Series paddock. The 33-year-old has spent almost a decade in the competition, but he’s yet to register a win to his name. However, he enjoys the backing of a significant number of fans. This was evident when he surprised them with a glimpse of his girlfriend on Thanksgiving.

It is worth noting that the #48 Chevy driver is not just a driver but is actively associated with NBC as a pit reporter. While a lot is known about his professional life, not much was known about his personal life—until now.

Having come through Team Penske’s driver development program, Parker Kligerman has spent the majority of his career in the Xfinity and Truck series. Over the years, he has been seen in bits and parts in the Cup Series as well. While he failed to capitalize on his opportunities, he continued trying his best in other competitions.

At the same time, Kligerman has had his fair of experiences in his personal life. As per raceblitz.com, he was supposedly married to Skye Edwards. Having met her in 2010, the couple got engaged in 2011 during the Camping World Truck Series Championship Award Ceremony.

While their wedding was intimate in Fort Worth, Texas in 2012, their marriage didn’t last long. The couple split with the actual reason still unknown. However, Kligerman found love once again in his life when he met his current girlfriend Shannon Leigh in 2016.

Shannon used to have a YouTube channel. She used it for vlogging purposes, and it turned out to be quite informative about her personal life. Unfortunately, she quit vlogging in 2019. Nevertheless, her relationship with Kligerman is going stronger than ever.

In fact, in a recent Twitter post, the Big Machine Racing driver shared an image showcasing him and Shanon.

The couple look lovely together, and the NASCAR fandom grew completely in awe of them.

Regardless of the competitive nature of NASCAR, the fans tend to strongly promote healthy relationships. It was the same case with Parker Kligerman as his post gathered a lot of love. One fan was quick to compliment Shannon Leigh’s amazing look. He said, “Omg she’s real! And pretty”

At the same time, some fans opted to use NASCAR analogies to express their love. One fan said, “She knows speed when she sees it. Happy Thanksgiving.” Another fan enthusiastically remarked, “That’s a P1 for you!!  Happy Thanksgiving!!”

While that was creative enough, one fan dared to ask a risky question. He asked Kligerman, “Where’s the ring dude ????” It is indeed a tricky question to ask. However, one fan tried to use humor and calm any unsettling questions by saying, “@pkligerman blink if you need help lol.”

Clearly, the fans love the couple. While Shannon makes Parker happy, he would be hoping to use that confidence on the tracks come the 2024 season.
