Recently, Tony Stewart shared an interesting insight into his early days in the NASCAR cup series. He stated that he learned from some of the best old-school drivers such as Bobby Labonte, Dale Earnhardt Sr., Rusty Wallace, Dale Jarrett, Mark Martin, Jeff Burton, and Jeff Gordon. He also mentioned how he started out from a different stock car racing background, coming from the midgets and sprints.

In an interview with Chase Briscoe, Tony Stewart explained the mindset he had while entering the sport. He said, “Hey I’m coming into your world, I not coming in with an arrogant attitude. Meanwhile, the other three drivers are languishing at the bottom half of the table. Almirola has little chance to make it to the playoffs. Cole Custer hasn’t even been in the top 10 yet. And Kevin Harvick has been sitting without a win since 2020.

With this Sunday’s race at Atlanta, we hope Chase Briscoe can lunge up the table further, securing his playoff position. He currently has a playoff rank of 13th.
