According to journalist, Dustin Albino’s tweet, “‘I don’t care how many laps we’ve got left, you gotta pay her a** back.’ Timmy Hill is told on his radio after contact from Hailie Deegan sent him around for a second time today.“

Fortunately for Deegan, the threatened payback never materialized. Nevertheless, her day on the track continued to be challenging. Despite the tumultuous events, she managed to cross the finish line in a commendable 20th place.

Having started strongly, Deegan’s race took a downward turn when a brush with Johnny Sauter on lap 58 resulted in a spin, plummeting her from a promising position within the top 15 to the back of the pack.
Moreover, her efforts to claw back up the field led to an encounter with Timmy Hill on lap 65. Deegan’s daring three-wide maneuver was met with stiff resistance by Hill, leading to a clash and a consequential spin for Hill. In his bid to regain control, Hill’s vehicle made a second contact with Deegan’s No. 13 truck.
