At this point, the ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ chant has surpassed its origination, where it came from. It’s hard to believe that the infamous political chant against President Joe Biden came from a NASCAR race.

When Xfinity Series driver Brandon Brown won the race at Talladega last season, some chants from Trump supporters in the stands aimed against President Biden were misquoted by a reporter as ‘Let’s Go Brandon’.

Very soon, this slogan caught fire and intensified into a political chant against the current President of the United States.

However, recently the supporters of President Biden seem to have come up with a response to the chant, a response in the form of a meme.

This meme is being called, the ‘Dark Brandon’, and is being widely used by Democrats across the country, praising the President and as a counter to the one used by Trump supporters.

Brandon Brown left fighting tears after losing his ticket to the NASCAR playoffs

Brandon Brown, who hasn’t won a NASCAR race since his infamous win at Talladega, had one shot at a ticket to the playoffs had he taken the checkered flag at Daytona last weekend. However, much to his anguish, he came just short, finishing the race in fourth place.

Naturally, the driver was heartbroken as he fought back tears during a post-race interview.

“Definitely a must-win if I was gonna be in the playoff,” Brown said. “The must-win feeling is kind of setting yourself up and show everybody, ‘Look, this kid’s a driver.’ That’s all I wanted to do. That’s all I ever wanted to do is drive and race for wins.”

“It’s been a rough year. I just really, really wanted this one.”

Speaking about his unwanted and unwarranted political involvement, at least of his name, Brown admitted that he is still viewed as a “political figure.”

“I can be viewed as divisive because of the chant. It’s really hard to convince companies that, ‘Hey that’s not me. That’s just what the crowd was chanting’,” he described.
