The 2022 season was nothing short of exciting. Drivers and teams saw great as well as not-so-great moments throughout the season campaign. However, as pointed out by NASCAR journalist Bob Pockrass, one moment possibly stood out the most. It was when the 23XI Racing driver Bubba Wallace created a scene with Kyle Larson at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Fox recently tweeted the 2022 season’s most memorable moment. They stated, Memorable Moments of the 2022 NASCAR Season (according to @bobpockrass). ‘#8: This wasn’t a great moment, but it was a big one. Bubba Wallace retaliated against Kyle Larson and started shoving him afterward. NASCAR issued a one-race suspension to Wallace for the nasty hook.’

Many deemed Wallace’s actions against Larson to be unreasonable and that he had gone too far. Ever since that incident, Wallace has also been noticeably quiet and hasn’t done anything polarizing yet. Pretty sure he would have received a reprimand from his team bosses; Denny Hamlin and Michael Jordan. Perhaps it could also be a way to control the damage to the reputation he caused with one foolish move.

NASCAR Fans react to Bubba Wallace and Kyle Larson’s moment

Almost everyone was upset with the way Wallace had handled himself at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Many even called out how NASCAR was way too lenient with him. They argued that he should have been parked for way longer. It was that day when the Michael Jordan driver probably lost the respect of many people who could have been fans.
