Sometime during the night, the hauler driver, fondly nicknamed ‘Captain Ron’ was forced to take evasive action on the road. This was because another hauler ahead of him swerved into his lane.

Luckily, a collision was avoided and ‘Captain Ron’ even let out a cheer afterward. Beyond that, it can be assumed that the hauler reached its destination safely. Soon, it will be on its way to the Texas Motor Speedway for the first Playoff race.

How did NASCAR fans react to the incident?

A few people acknowledged that the incident was pretty scary and were glad that everyone was safe. Some guessed that the swerving driver was either dozing off or checking their phone while driving. Admittedly, it isn’t known whether the other driver was dozing or on their phone, but those two were the usual suspects.

Interestingly though, a fair number of people seemed to blame Captain Ron for almost causing the collision. Few people observed that there was another truck parked on the shoulder and the swerving hauler was trying to avoid it.
