In late October-early November, the NASCAR paddock heads to the Martinsville Speedway. This will be for the final race of the Round of 8 Playoffs. To the delight of the fans, the track authorities have been permitted to host a certain number of fans.
Therefore, fans will have the opportunity to attend the Xfinity 500 Cup race in a limited capacity. Of course, the weekend kicks off with the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series race on Friday, Oct. 30. Hot on its heels is the Xfinity Series playoff on October 31st, with the Cup race closing the show on November 1st.
“Martinsville Speedway is home to some of the most competitive and dramatic racing in NASCAR, so we look forward to welcoming fans back to be a part of the experience,” as per Martinsville President Clay Campbell.

“The roar of the engines combined with the return of fans’ cheers will make the intense battle to set the field for the NASCAR Championship that much greater.
“After successfully hosting a June NASCAR Cup Series race, Martinsville will be ready to welcome fans back for a safe race experience in the Commonwealth.”
The Martinsville announcement means all the remaining races in the Cup Series Playoffs will host fans. The tracks are Charlotte, Kansas Speedway, Texas Motor Speedway, Martinsville, and the Phoenix Raceway for the season finale.

How will Martinsville handle the situation as per NASCAR guidelines?
Obviously, the Martinsville Speedway authorities will follow the advice of the public health officials and authorities. So some of their measures include reseating fans at new locations with the help of lower ticket pricing.
Additionally, every guest will have to undergo a mandatory screening before entering the facility. They will also have to wear face masks and maintain at least six-feet of social distancing while in the venue. In terms of carry-on items, coolers are prohibited, while clear bags are allowed inside the venue.

Of course, there is still plenty of time before NASCAR even reaches Martinsville. Before that, the paddock will be making landfall at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval.
