Richard Petty, better known as “The King” for his illustrious career in stock car racing, has been one of the most prominent American racing icons. Though recently, the seven-time champion went to social media and confused the entirety of NASCAR Twitter.

The King tweeted, “I’ve had enough” without any context of what he has had enough of.

This simply sent fans into a frenzy. Some resorted to memes whilst others just rallied behind their “King” regardless of the intended meaning of Petty’s message.

One fan stated that he thinks that Ross Chastain was involved.

Some speculated that there must have been some beef between Petty and the other mysterious entity. On the other hand, a fan shared an old post, where petty was asked when he shall decide to retire. To which Petty said, “I’m liable to quit next month, or two years or 10 years from now. One day I’ll just get up and say, ‘Boys, I’ve had enough.”

Richard Petty strikes a new endorsement deal with Hardee’s

In recent news, the 85-year-old legendary NASCAR icon got into an endorsement deal with Hardee’s. Through this, he will be celebrating the company’s celebrate this delicious Hand-Breaded Chicken Sandwich.

According to Petty GMS he claims to be a devoted Hardee’s fan. He said, “Hardee’s has always had a special place in my heart because it feels like a bite of home.”

The 7-time Daytona winner will be at the Charlotte unit of Hardee’s on July 18, from 12 pm to 2 pm located at 4280, State Highway 49 Harrisburg, North Carolina.
