Denny Hamlin, along with Michael Jordan, earlier this month announced the name of their new NASCAR team, 23XI Racing. The name 23 has come from Michael Jordan’s iconic jersey number and the XI came after working with a lot of ideas and options.

However, to get things up and running a gamut of work goes in, right from personnel management to finance and so much more. There are a lot of drivers in NASCAR who are into the business, and Kevin Harvick is one of them.

Harvick, who has the experience of owning and running Kevin Harvick Incorporated from 1999 until 2011, had words of advice for Hamlin.

“I think the most important thing that you have are people. The only way to be great is to have great people,” Harvick said.

He could not lay enough stress on hiring the right personnel because he felt that its paramount to the fortunes of the racing team. “If you have great people, it leads to the opportunity to be great, so it’s all about putting the right people in the right places.

“A lot of times those are the people that realize it takes everything to be perfect to be successful in this sport, so hiring the right people is definitely the biggest key to the equation,” Harvick further added.

The single-car team is set to make its debut at the Daytona 500 next year. Bubba Wallace, who is driving his last season with Richard Petty Motorsports, will be seen driving the #23 car for 23XI Racing.
