Joining him on the podcast were fellow spotters Brett Griffin and TJ Majors, driver Chandler Smith, and the co-host of the show Casey Boat.

NASCAR insiders weigh in with their opinions on the Denny Hamlin case

Earlier last month, while the sanctioning body of NASCAR faced the full brunt of fans’ rage as the organization decked hefty penalties to their teams and drivers, things doesn’t end well with that.

In the recent episode of the popular Door Bumper Clear (a Dirty Mo Media production), Freddie Kraft and his associates reacted to NASCAR penalizing Denny Hamlin for his revelations.

The podcast started off with the group welcoming NASCAR driver Chandler Smith to the show. Things escalated rather quickly as Brett asked, “Could you imagine if we get through all the process and Denny’s the only one that loses points?”

“Unbelievable” was the obvious response.

He also mentions that “Casey, no driver to my knowledge has lost points for wrecking somebody.” he asks, ” So, what makes Denny the fall guy for for losing points?”

While an agitated Freddie Kraft takes the stage, he let out, I think that NASCAR scr*wed up Denny’s penalty because, all they had to say was, this guy admitted to wreck somebody on the podcast, if they would’ve said that I dont think Denny has a legit stand on it but then they went in to say, ‘He manipulated the race, he did this and that.’”

Reflecting the reality of how things play out inside the oval, he further added,Ross manipulated it. Everybody manipulates the race. Everybody on the racetrack is trying to manipulate the race in their favor.”

Now for hardcore fans of the sport, this is not the first time Denny and Ross went aggressive with their feud, wrecking and bumping each other.

The rivalry started out way back last year when Ross bumped into Hamlin at Atlanta, sending him spinning out of control. With multiple incidents like these last year, the frustrated Joe Gibbs Racing driver decided to exact his revenge at Phoenix.

While NASCAR came down harshly on Hamlin, Ross continues to remained unscathed. Moreover, the recent race in COTA is a prime example of numerous bumps and careless driving. However, the sanctioning body continues to stay silent on these matters.
