Ryan Newman and Bubba Wallace found fame through different means

Newman was the first one to shoot to the top of Google’s chart. This was because he got involved in an almighty accident in the closing stages of the race at Daytona. To be exact, he went airborne briefly and when gravity made itself known, his car landed on its roof and slid for several meters.

Newman’s crash at the Daytona 500 saw him end up in the hospital for a while. Luckily, he was soon cleared to leave the hospital after a few days. He was soon able to return to the racetrack and saw out the rest of the 2020 Cup Series season.

The American driver Bubba Wallace has been one of the most influential athletes in 2020. Even a tough moment mid-season was not enough to scare him, and NASCAR stood firmly behind him. Now, his career is looking up, as he is set to join Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin’s 23XI Racing team.

Meanwhile, Newman is set to remain with the Roush Fenway Racing team in 2021. Both of them will be looking forward to excellent campaigns in the coming season.
