Following a rather thriller of a race at Sonoma Raceway, NASCAR nation is observing its only week-off this week. While fans are scrounging for more updates from the NASCAR world, NASCAR’s own ‘bad boy’ Kyle Busch is reaping fortune for his hard work on the tracks.

After a close last-minute neck-and-neck battle with his former Joe Gibbs Racing team, Martin Truex Jr, the #8 driver fell behind Truex Jr to finish the race second by a whisker. Despite his former JGR teammate getting the best of him, Busch’s off week certainly was a triple treat for KB fans as Kyle Busch Motorsports welcomed a 26-year-old phenom to its line-up for the Truck Series while Busch and Samantha were enjoying the plush beaches and tropics of the Caribbean Island, on vacation.

While Busch and his better half, Samantha were enjoying the fruits of their success, young Brexton couldn’t miss the track as the youngest racer from the Busch family showcased his latest Talladega run on his social media making this week special for ‘Rowdy’ and his ardent fans.

Kyle Busch Motorsports Adds Another Driver to Its Line-Up as They Welcome the Xfinity Sensation

After a hard bough battle for the final 14 laps, Richard Childress Racing driver, Kyle Busch had to be content with a close second to Martin Truex Jr as the JGR driver closed the gap and cemented his playoff chances.

Despite this, Busch finished the race second only to his former JGR teammate. Following the race, the RCR driver improved his position in the standings, rising to the 6th spot with 496 just four short of veteran, Kevin Harvick while Truex topped the table with 525 points.

As fans scrounged for more updates during NASCAR’s only week off this season, KBM added a new driver to its lineup for the #51 Silverado, completing the 23-race schedule for this season in NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.

With over 121 race starts in the Xfinity scene, Matt Mills came 10th at Daytona International Speedway, scoring his career-best result. The 26-year-old sensation will pilot the #51 Silverado at Richmond Raceway on July 29 and Milwaukee as part of his 2-race deal with KBM.

And joining Mills is his primary sponsor, JF Electric, who will be part of his Truck Series adventure. Reflecting on the golden opportunity at hand, Mills said, “I’m really excited that KBM is providing me with an opportunity to showcase my abilities driving two races in the No. 51 Silverado,” he then further pointed out the speciality of his Truck Series debut, “It makes it even more exciting that Richmond is the first race because I was born about an hour from there and I’ve had some strong runs there in the Xfinity Series, so I couldn’t think of a better track to make my KBM debut at. J.F. Electric has been a long-time supporter, and this wouldn’t be possible without them, Utilitra and Thompson Electric.”

KBM now has 4 drivers with Chase Purdy full time in the No. 4 Chevy whereas Kyle Busch, Jack Wood, HMS ace, William Byron and now Matt Mills join the #51 team as they continue their long-awaited 100th victory. On the other hand, as KBM welcomed Mills to its driver lineup, the off week meant fun for Kyle Busch and Samantha Busch as the couple went on a special trip to St. Lucia while young Brexton showed off his track days on his Instagram.

Brexton Becomes the Pride of the Busch Family While Kyle and Samantha Enjoy Themselves With Their Weekend Retreat

Like father, like son, that certainly is the case when it comes to young Brexton. Much like his daddy, 8-year-old Brexton started his life in the fast lane at a very young age. Racing midgets, Brexton has been on a steady rise as Kyle Busch sees his son on the way to the top.

Both Busch and his son even had an adventure together when the RCR raced at Talladega, the youngest racer of the family was on a mission on the same track, racing quarter midgets. A fascinating 11-minute video has been uploaded to Kyle Busch’s official YouTube handle as the whole family joined young Brexton for his Talladega run on his Junior Honda while daddy Busch showed his boy the way with an emphatic win at the superspeedway.

With the 38th episode, insatiable fans got a piece of the action as Brexton Busch showed off his track day during NASCAR’s only off week while KB and his better half toured off to St. Lucia on a couples’ vacation.

Samantha Busch shared the images with her social family as she posted pictures with her husband with a wholesome caption, “Relaxed and happy. I love you.”
