Bubba Wallace is currently facing a situation of ‘damned if you do and damned if you don’t’. To be precise, he gets criticized often for not winning races, despite so much promise.

Now, he has gone and snatched two career wins, but he is still getting a lot of hate on social media. His newest critic is Republican politician, Lavern Spicer, who echoed Wallace’s long-time hater Nick Adams.

Spicer insinuated that Wallace is more focused on bringing up the race card instead of racing.

Naturally, many outraged Bubba Wallace fans were quick to leap to his defense.

They all pointed out that he is a two-time race winner, and his second win was pretty much unquestionable.

How did fans defend Bubba Wallace from the malicious criticisms?

Aside from pointing out his two wins, they posted plenty of memes. They also said that he had won more races than Spicer had won political campaigns.

Some people even mocked her for her accusation of playing the race card. Few people even said that she was not a NASCAR fan and had never watched a single race.

At the end of the day, the bottom line is that Bubba Wallace is a race winner and no one can take that away from him.

One thing is for sure, love him or hate him, you just cannot ignore Bubba Wallace. With this second win under his belt, he is already the most successful African-American NASCAR driver. In fact, this propels him part the likes of the legendary Wendell Scott, who was the first African-American race winner.

For now, Wallace will be looking ahead to the upcoming races in the NASCAR Playoffs. Although he has not qualified, the #45 car is eligible for the owner’s championship, courtesy of Kurt Busch. Since Busch is unavailable due to his ongoing recovery, 23XI Racing swapped in Wallace, and Ty Gibbs took over the #23 car’s reins.
