Now that Harvick is settling in with his new role, an unusual challenge erupted before him. A challenge that is as perplexing as it could be, since he is not aware of any solution to it. Surprisingly, for the 48-year-old NASCAR champ, it is a process that he is still learning.

The former Stewart-Haas Racing driver sits down for an interview on an episode of ‘NASCAR on FOX’. After a prolonged discussion about various aspects, there came a personal question to Harvick when the interviewer asked if he teaches racing to his son Keelan and daughter Piper the same way or if it is different.

To which Kevin Harvick said that different is an understatement here. With the ever-changing mood of his little daughter, he faces a tough time coping with her training. Last week, they went go-kart racing in the rain. While the father thought it would be a fun experience spending time with his little one on the go-kart track, Piper had some different plans figured out beforehand. She literally asked her father not to interrupt during her training session.

Billy is my crew chief, and I prefer that he tell me everything I need to do and not you,'” said Harvick. Shocked by her response, he decided to leave her alone. He then added, “She comes in, we talk about everything, I’m talking and she’s like mean mugging me. I’m like man she’s serious. She’s not talking to me.”
