A couple of races ago, Kevin Harvick was forced to retire from the race when his car caught fire. Naturally, the fuming Stewart-Haas Racing driver blamed ‘crappy-a** parts’ for his retirement. Unfortunately, it has gotten much worse for him, as he is officially eliminated from Playoff contention. However, it is an interesting top note that Harvick is now embracing the funny side of his comments.

To be precise, he has taken a page out of Alex Bowman’s book and implemented it in a hilarious manner. Recently, Harvick’s Happy’s e-Shop put up a T-shirt reading, ‘Happy’s Crappy A** Parts 4 Less’. Those shirts are reportedly available in the shop and fans can pre-order them for $20. There was also a tagline that read, “If flames are your game, add a crappy-ass parts shirt to your cart.

Who did Kevin Harvick emulate to perform this hilarious stunt?

As it turns out, Harvick is not the first person to do the T-shirt trick. That honor goes to Hendrick Motorsports driver Alex Bowman, especially after last year. This was because, Denny Hamlin had dubbed him as a ‘hack’, so Bowman’s revenge was putting the insult on a T-shirt. Later on, he did the same thing to Kyle Busch who accused him of ‘backing into race wins’.

To further rub it in, Bowman donated 18% of the proceeds to animal shelters. Busch later proved that he could give as well as he could take a joke. This was when he sold his own T-shirts with a 48% discount, both drivers obviously referencing each other’s racing numbers.

All jokes aside though, Kevin Harvick was pretty mad at the lack of regard for safety. There are a few drivers who have back up his statements, like Noah Gragson. The Kaulig Racing driver has admitted that he has taken a few hard hits in the Cup car, as compared to the Xfinity car. Other than that, Kurt Busch’s absence is a reminder that the Next Gen car may still need some work on the safety front.
