Tony Stewart was the rage among young NASCAR fans and drivers when he raced in the early 2000s. The former Joe Gibbs Racing man grew up racing karts and midgets, before making the upgrade to the ‘big’ leagues. But he continues to maintain close relations with his roots.

Tony Stewart, aka Smoke, is a 3-time Cup Series champion apart from his various wins across formats, including an IndySeries win. The Hall of Famer most famously stopped Jeff Gordon from winning his 5th Cup Series as he grabbed his first Cup Series in 2002.

Midway through his career, he also entered the team owners’ arena as he teamed up with Gene Haas. His team, Stewart-Haas Racing, has been running since its debut in 2009.

They have also diversified their involvements in motorsport racing, with cars competing in the Cup Series, the Xfinity Series, and the Truck Series among other series like the ARCA.

Given his extraordinary racing pedigree, and years of experience, drivers today highly appreciate his presence. Young, up-and-coming drivers look up to Stewart for his insights and views.

Undoubtedly, a NASCAR Hall of Famer and 3-time Cup Series winner’s words demand due respect and attention from any driver who wishes to make a career in the sport.

Not sponsors and drama loke he been dealing with for the last few years. I love nascar but they pushed tony away and now he will bring other racing to light and help it grow”

One fan called him the “Best freaking driver in the world. I been a Stewart fan many years. Maybe he thinking about being a street outlaw”
