The past week was exciting, to say the very least, for racing fans. Since the NASCAR Cup Series and Xfinity Series delivered the hype along with the exhilarating Indy500, motor sporting enthusiasts were treated to some intense racing action. As JR Motorsports driver, Justin Allgaier clinched a nail-biting win, his boss and team owner Dale Earnhardt Jr revealed what led him to watch the race from home.
Following the Alsco 300 Charlotte, the community was treated to another interesting episode of the popular podcast, Dale Jr Download. As Dale Jr joined his longtime friend, Mike Davis, he disclosed why he couldn’t witness his NASCAR driver’s thrilling run on track after the “really big moment” that shocked him.

Dale Earnhardt Jr Discloses Why He Couldn’t Catch His Xfinity Driver Win as an Unexpected Guest Kept Him at Home
The Coca-Cola 600 went down as a blockbuster. In fact, the race had action in plenty with a feel-good finish with Ryan Blaney returning to the winner’s circle, thus ending his 59-race-long winless slump.
As Blaney’s win brought Ford their sought-after triumph in Cup Series, the other American manufacturer in NASCAR shined at the Xfinity Series when Justin Allgaier came home victorious with his #7 Chevy. After the race, Allgaier’s boss and popular face, Dale Jr, told the fans he was busy at home because of his daughter’s sleepover guests.
Although he missed his driver’s win at the track, the proud co-owner watched his driver cross the finish line at home as his daughter, Isla, had brought her friend home for a sleepover. In the podcast, Dale Jr treated us with a wholesome incident at home.
He said, “Amy said, hey Isla’s got a friend coming over from school, that was another really big moment where you are like, how the hell did I get here, somebody’s trusting their kid with us?“
As his friend Mike Davis laughed at how vividly Dale Jr painted the picture, the 48-year-old further revealed how the girls’ first sleepover went.

Dale Jr Reveals How Isla’s First Sleepover Unfolded
As the veteran revealed the tales of the adventurous sleepover, Davis could not keep himself from laughing. Dale Jr recalled his hilarious reaction seeing his 8-year-old jump around with excitement when he got home.

He said, “They were bouncing off the walls man and so I walk into the room and Isla looks at me and says, hey my friends are here for sleepover, like said it that fast and I’m like Amy have they been drinking coffee?”
Junior also shared how the girls went about their gymnastics while Dale and Amy had a ball laughing from their room.
“They are doing flips into the bed off of the furniture, they’re like gymnastics happening in the dark,” said Dale Jr despite his plans going for a toss, when unexpected guests dropped in.

Although he was shocked by the news of the guests and the sleepover, the proud father surely loved seeing his daughter happy.
