Kyle Busch found his future in Richard Childress Racing after a well-documented divorce from Joe Gibbs Racing. But that big move also involved him leaving the Toyota family, and working with a completely new manufacturer. Of course that puts a massive question mark on Kyle Busch Motorsports’ future.

KBM has been sponsored by Toyota Racing Development ever since it was born. But after the big switch to Chevrolet, obviously, they wouldn’t be backing the team anymore. But although we can expect the manufacturer of the trucks to change, who will drive for them? Because, John Hunter Nemechek, Corey Haim, and Chandler Smith are all Toyota drivers.

So, if they want to continue driving for KBM, they will have to leave Toyota. What will be KBM’s future? Well, according to a recent announcement, we could find out soon.

The team Tweeted, “2023 ANNOUNCEMENT
KYLE BUSCH MOTORSPORTS WILL ANNOUNCE ITS PLANS FOR THE 2023 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN TRUCK SERIES FRIDAY, NOV. 4, AT 5:15 P.M. ET. INSIDE THE MEDIA CENTER AT PHOENIX RACEWAY.”

Plenty of fans speculated and gave their ideal lineup for the next year.
