After a week’s break, the NASCAR Xfinity Series returns to the race track on Saturday for the Ag-Pro 300 at Talladega Superspeedway. It is the eighth race of the 2021 season after Josh Berry stunned the field to win his maiden NASCAR Xfinity race a couple of weeks ago at Martinsville.
Saturday’s race is also the second ‘Dash 4 Cash’ race this season. Berry (courtesy of his Martinsville win), Noah Gragson (who won the previous $100,000 up for grabs), Daniel Hemric, and Brandon Jones are eligible for the prize this weekend.
Start time: The race is scheduled for a 4 pm ET start, with the green flag to be waved off at 4.14 pm ET.

Dash 4 Cash scenario for the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Talladega
Reigning series champ Austin Cindric will start the race on pole position. Hemric will join him on the front row, while Harrison Burton, Noah Gragson, and Justin Haley will complete the top-five starting positions.
Cindric won the superspeedway race earlier this year, which was the Daytona season opener. However, Haley is a driver to watch out for due to his superior superspeedway record off late. The Kaulig Racing driver scored three straight wins on those tracks last year, sweeping both Talladega races as well.

Cindric currently leads the NASCAR Xfinity Series points standings with 317 points to his name. He is the only driver to have won two races this season and has a 42-point lead over Hemric in second place.
