On Saturday, Kevin fought a hard-challenge from Denny Hamlin. Denny’s incredible run was thwarted by a late error in his car. Before this win, He had 12 ‘top-5’ finishes at Pocono but was never able to win the race.
After his win, he talked about his plans and how the celebration is incomplete without the fans. Harvick said, “That’s great to finally check Pocono off the list,”
He added, “I’m not doing any more celebrations with nobody out there to celebrate with,” Harvick said. “Until the fans come back, I’m not doing a burnout, I’m not standing on the car, I’m not doing any of that stuff. It doesn’t feel right not having my team in victory lane.”
