“Two Peas in a Pod”: Stewart-Haas Racing Team Start a Twitter Laughing Riot

NASCAR team Stewart-Haas Racing posted a very unusual team photo of their drivers Cole Custer and Chase Briscoe. The post prompted a laughing riot on Twitter with many notable people getting in the banter.

The tweet says, “We call this photo a thumb stopper. Like two peas in a pod… or maybe a couple of step-brothers. We’re just gonna leave this one right here…”

The Twitter banter involved multiple famous NASCAR personalities taking a jibe at Cole and Chase for the hilarious picture. Team Penske driver Austin Cindric commented, “Chase what did you do to Cole’s drumset?”. Whereas, Notable NASCAR journalist who goes by the user name ‘nascarcasm’ also commented on the thread.

One user even suggested that Steward-Haas should shoot all the drivers in this pose and sell merchandise with these pictures on them. Additionally, One user called them ‘two peas in a pod’ and another user asked ‘who did they piss off at Team office for them to post this pic?’

Currently, Cole Custer competes in Cup series and Chase Briscoe competes in the Xfinity series. However, both of them were teammates at Stewart-Haas Racing in the Xfinity series before Cole got a chance to compete full time in Cup series.

Many users commented on the drivers’ photo which looks a lot like Saturday Night Live star, Will Ferrell, and John C Reilly from Step Brothers. Even the Stewart-Haas Esports Twitter handle couldn’t resist mocking the sister outfit with a ‘Call me Dragon’ gif.

The Steward-Haas team is co-owned by former NASCAR Cup champion Tony Stewart and Gene Haas of Haas Automotives. The team came into existence in 2009 after Stewart agreed to race for the team in return for 50% equity. Before that, it was known as Haas CNC Racing from 2002 to 2008.
