“That’s the Cost of Doing Business” – Bubba Wallace’s Spotter Makes a Demand to Denny Hamlin

In the aftermath of the Pocono race drama, Bubba Wallace’s spotter, Freddie Kraft spoke about Denny Hamlin and approved of Denny having his own pit crew.

During a podcast with Dale Jr’s Dirty Mo Media, Freddie Kraft said, “If you want the best guys in the sport you’ve gotta go out and get ’em. Denny showed you very recently that if he wants something or someone he’s gonna go out and get them. Obviously, it’s gonna cost them more money probably than getting a crew from JGR but that’s the cost of doing business.

“If there are six pit crews at JGR you’re gonna think that they align the four best for themselves you’re not gonna give the 23 or 45 two of their best six.”

Denny Hamlin brought in his own pit crew, and it seemed to have worked out well for him. Considering the fact that he did technically get the race win at Pocono. Even though the win was later stripped off later.

Denny Hamlin plans to sell the Pocono Trophy on eBay

After being disqualified from the race win at Pocono, Denny Hamlin took to Twitter to post a video of him eating next to the trophy and pouring himself a glass of champagne from the bottle he won.

In the captions, Hamlin wrote Live on EBay. 1 tainted trophy and 1 used bottle of champagne.

Denny expressed he himself did not want to keep the trophy and instead literally just give it away. On the other hand, even Chase Elliott who was announced the winner said he does not want it either. He’s okay if Denny wants to keep it.

We don’t really know the fate of the trophy as to who’ll get their hands on it. Maybe a lucky fan gliding across eBay might get their hands on it.
