Dale Earnhardt Jr. is possibly one of the most fun commentators in the NASCAR on NBC booth. Every time he is in the booth, it’s all praises and applauds, and fans look forward to races with Junior’s voice broadcasting the race. It’s safe to say, Dale Jr. is a fan-favorite commentator, but what if he commentated for other sports?

In a recent segment of the #askjr, Earnhardt Jr. revealed whether he would like to commentate for a sport outside auto racing.

A fan asked, “Dale, besides auto racing, what sport would you like to commentate for?”

To which Junior replied, “I don’t think any. You know I’ll be honest with you, man. I love going and doing the extra things that NBC sends me to. And, it’s a great experience going to the olympics and all those things. But, to be a full-time broadcaster in a different sport? I don’t really, uh I don’t want to pursue that.”

“I really don’t, so I mean I love being in the net I, love being in the booth for the races. That’s where I belong, that’s where I feel at home. That’s where my heart’s at.”

Since he is quite passionate about racing, he is firm on sticking to it. So it seems we wouldn’t be seeing Dale Jr. anywhere in the broadcasting booth for the Olympics or any other sport. However, there’s some great news for fans of the driver.
