Dale Earnhardt Jr. dissects SVG, Kobayashi, and Kostecki’s speed on Indianapolis road course

With the Racing Capital of the World as their backdrop, the podcast duo delved into the heart of the matter. SVG, who had graced their show in the past week, had managed to hold his own in the fierce race. The JR Motorsports owner, his tone a blend of both admiration and critique, dissected SVG’s performance with surgical precision.

“SVG Shane van Gisbergen, who was on our show last week, ended up running decent. I think the lack of cautions in the inability to really kind of close the gap hurt their opportunities. I would look down at the lap chart until lap times, just periodically, every probably 10 laps or so, probably more often than that and see how they were running compared to the rest of the field.” Junior stated.

Earnhardt further added, “And Kobayashi and and and Brodie ? SVG Obviously they were all running at times, some of the fastest lap, some of the top five lap times during the race. So the speed and the paces is there. They didn’t stink. It was an interesting, you know, the rate, the way the race played out without yellows was a challenge for anyone.”
