NASCAR fans express their concern over Kyle Busch’s #8

Blaming Kyle Busch’s #8 for his performance on Sunday, NASCAR fans expressed their disappointment with Richard Childress Racing. Kyle Busch admits to taking inspiration from Tyler Reddick to operate the #8 efficiently

Kyle Busch’s #8 is the same car that Tyler Reddick drove last season. Being one of the fastest vehicles on track, Kyle Busch admitted he was trying to emulate Reddick in order to make it as fast as last season. In an interview at COTA, Busch said,

“Tyler obviously is a really good road racer. He proved it driving this car here last year. I was able to get in it and run right back to him. I’ve been trying to emulate the things he did in order to make this car fast last year, but not quite all the way there.

“They had a whale of a car.”

Irrespective of the issues faced by Busch last weekend, the two-time Cup champion had an impressive start to his season. Having already registered a 2023 season win at the Auto Club Speedway, Busch currently has 2 top 5 finishes, and 4 top 10 finishes, while standing tall at the fourth position in the points table.
