“This Deal Pays in November” – Chase Elliott Urges Patience as He Remains Only Hendrick Motorsports Driver Without a Win This Season

Chase Elliott is the man of the Cup Series right now in NASCAR. Of Course, we all know he’s leading the rest of the grid right now, with 208 points. Although Ryan Blaney is 13 points behind, Elliott’s consistent points finish seems to have secured the top spot for the past 3 weekends. However, Chase Elliott has not won a single race so far in the 2022 Cup Series Championship.

Despite that, Chase Elliott feels like he’s on a great team.

Chase Elliott Talks About How it Feels to Have No Wins So Far

Elliott does feel like he is not lacking the pace, considering, he starts by letting us know that “Other than Vegas, I’ve felt like there’s been signs of pace” However, he added, “We just hadn’t put a whole day together, unfortunately.” 

However, he still stands at the top of the championship as the only Hendrick driver with no race wins so far. Despite that, Elliott is very patient about it, as he says, “We just keep doing our thing, continue to try to move forward man, it’s really all you can do.”

He then added, “Look, it’s April 2. You know, this deal pays in November. We’ve got a long ways to go, and I feel like we have a great team and that’s the part of the year we want to be prepared for the most.”

Furthermore, he stated the objective of the team, “We want to win, we want to gain as many bonus points as we can, don’t get me wrong, but a lot of racing to be done.”

In the end, the 2020 champion’s pace and consistency are proof of his pace and hopefully, we see some wins soon.
