Finally, we have reached the moment we have been waiting for. The first road course of the schedule is upon us as the NASCAR bandwagon reaches COTA in Austin after an eventful short-track race at Bristol, Tennessee. The star-studded Xfinity Series line-up is what makes the fandom eagerly wait for the Focused Health 250.

HMS ace, Kyle Larson will do a cameo with his fellow Cup Series driver Ty Gibbs featuring in the race while Kaulig Racing’s Shane Van Gisbergen and AJ Allmendinger will test each other to prove who is the real road racing specialist. Amidst the various storylines that hype up the event is the presence of former Formula One driver and international talent, Daniil Kvyat.

Just ahead of the race, the driver has spoken his mind about NASCAR’s unfair practice session. Speaking to Fronstretch, he said, “There’s not a lot you can do really, there’s 20 minutes of practice and you’re straight to qualifying so, pretty much going to have to do my best, learning all the breaking points and line through this 20 minutes and then tried to qualify and then race so, very limited time but going to do my best to be fast.”

When asked about how much practice is necessary, Kvyat opined, “A couple of days of testing if it was up to me at least it would be great but one hour would do but now we have 20 minutes so I’ll just have to go with 20 minutes you know, I know this is a disadvantage but I need to be a fast learned today.”

Changing the EV landscape since 2017 with peppy e-scooters and e-bikes is Gotrax without compromising on reliability. And partnering up with the EV producer is Russian driver Daniil Kvyat. Gotrax will be Kvyat’s primary partner for the series’ first road race at COTA. Reflecting on his partnership, the driver said, “I’m grateful to GOTRAX for their support as I return to COTA, this time with the NASCAR Xfinity Series instead of Formula One. Their dedication to performance matches my own. COTA is a challenging track, but it’s also enjoyable to run. I’m looking forward to getting back out there.”
