It’s a full house at the Earnhardt’s! Taking a break from his podcasting duties, Dale Earnhardt Jr has been soaking up the holiday spirit, as was recently seen in a social media update. Fans got an exclusive peak into the Earnhardt family celebrations where his big family came together to commemorate the year-end traditions. The veteran also divulged how Christmas has always been special for him!

Holidays bring near and dear ones closer together! Just ask Dale Earnhardt Jr and he’ll tell you how Christmas has always held a special place in his heart. Reiterating the same, the veteran recently took to Instagram to share an epic family photo that featured three generations of the Earnhardt family, including Dale Jr’s wife Amy, his brother Kerry, and sister Kelley, among others. Just looking at the smiling faces was proof enough that the get-together was a jovial affair!

With Queen’s classic song ‘Thank God It’s Christmas’ playing in the background, Dale Jr shared a wholesome caption, where he talked about how his family celebrates Christmas!

Celebrating Christmas Eve with my brother and sister is always a great time. And this Queen song kicks a**. I have a radio in the garage that constantly plays a local station, Christmas music all this month. It’ll move back to regular programming in a few days and I’ll miss it. Till this time next year. As a kid, Christmas was everything and now as a father/husband this holiday is eagerly anticipated again,” the caption read.

The family affair might have been heart-warming, but Earnhardt Jr made sure to also extend the holiday cheer to people beyond his close ones. The Dale Jr Foundation, last week, unveiled the massive amounts they raised for nearly 70 organizations in 2023.

The Dale Jr Foundation that mainly focuses on youth welfare, recently took to X to announce a staggering $1.1 million raised in donations benefitting 70 organizations. 59 additional organizations also received in-kind support. Among the major contributions were the foundation’s 13th Annual Driven to Give event, which served as an instrumental part of the money-raising process, garnering nearly $450,000 this year. Apart from that, the annual Ride-Along program also raised around $300,000.

Talking about the massive charitable achievement, Kelley Earnhardt Miller, the foundation’s Vice-President, said, “This has been a tremendous year of giving.”

“Thanks to the generous donations and hard work of so many special people, The Foundation has been able to support a number of impactful and worthwhile causes,” she further added.
