Recently, Justin Marks and Team Trackhouse Racing announced a new partnership with Camping World. In other words, the brand will take on the role of primary sponsor for Daniel Suarez’s #99 NASCAR machine. So, Marks, Camping World, and musician/co-owner Pitbull will all be working together to promote the team and bring in good results.

Speaking to SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, Marks said, “This was the easiest piece of business I think I ever closed in my life. Camping World has a cultural diversity programme that they just announced. There are a lot of things in the works, but honestly, it just comes back to who we are and what we’re doing.

“Trackhouse is in a really great spot for 2021 and we’re already looking forward to 2022.”

Trackhouse is recovering from a sluggish start in 2021 NASCAR season

Admittedly, poor old Daniel Suarez and Team Trackhouse did not have the best of starts. At the Daytona 500, he got involved in an early wreck and that dented his chances. On the bright side, his run at the Daytona road course was a lot better and he managed to finish 16th fastest.

Hopefully, for the Mexican driver, he can build on this and deliver more consistent performances. Obviously, this is easier said than done, because he has to be wary of other drivers on the track. However, Suarez has proven that the Team Trackhouse car has the pace to possibly challenge for the playoffs.

On the flip side of the coin, there is also a small worry that things could go horribly wrong. This means that he could possibly plummet backwards down the order.

Of course, only two races are done and dusted, meaning that there is plenty of time for things to change. It all depends on whether Daniel Suarez can build on his 16th place finish. If he manages to improve this weekend at Homestead-Miami, he will certainly be on the right track.
