As it turned out, Castroneves could not make it to the Stafford Speedway for the next race. This is because the race clashes with the IndyCar race at Mid-Ohio.

“Piss*d Off” Tony Stewart Lets Loose on Ernie Francis After SRX Series Race at South Boston

Naturally, he has to prioritize IndyCar over the SRX Series, and Marks would be happy to step in. The Stafford Speedway plays host to the third round of the season after Five Flags and South Boston.

How did the SRX Series race play out this weekend?

Earlier this weekend, series co-founder Tony Stewart won at the South Boston Speedway. As it happened, the former NASCAR Cup Series champion dominated the proceedings. Greg Biffle won the first heat race, with Marco Andretti winning the second heat race. However, Stewart was unstoppable in the main race, with Biffle and Bobby Labonte completing the Top 3.

Unfortunately, he was not too pleased with the overly aggressive nature of the race. Several tempers flared up, including Stewart’s and he was on a warpath. Other annoyed drivers include Ernie Francis, Paul Tracy and Michael Waltrip. Tracy had several issues with IndyCar driver Helio Castroneves, while Waltrip was annoyed with Ryan Hunter-Reay.

At least Tracy will be relieved that Castroneves won’t be there for the next race at Stafford Motor Speedway.

Unfortunately for Waltrip, the same cannot be said for Hunter-Reay. So, he will have to take up arms former IndyCar champion for one more race. He will be hoping that Hunter-Reay will not crash into him like last time, and will leave him alone in the race.
