Chase Elliott sealed his Top 8 playoff berth when he won the 2020 Bank of America Roval 400. When he spoke to Fox Sports, he reflected on this win and even his 2019 win at the same venue.
He said, “I was better than I was last year. I didn’t pile-drive the barriers this time, so that was good. Was able to finish it off the right way, which is always encouraging. Looking forward to this next round. Trying to make some noise.”
Previewing the upcoming race at the Kansas Speedway, Elliott said that he was looking forward to it. On the subject of Kansas and the next race at Texas, he knew that he had not recorded any spectacular results last year. So, he hopes that he and the team can improve dramatically from there.
