The iconic NASCAR driver, Kevin Harvick, one who is gearing up to hang up his helmet this season, has always been famous for his sharp tongue. As is his nature, he is back with another ace up his sleeve, spilling the beans about his boss, Tony Stewart.

While Stewart retired from NASCAR in 2016, he’s still in the game as the team owner of the Stewart-Haas Racing team, where Harvick continues to hold the wheel. The two legends have been thick as thieves for over two decades now, a glimpse of which was evident in a video post wherein Harvick lets slip one of his boss’s amusing quirks.

Kevin Harvick describes Tony Stewart as a real “entertainer”

The regular season finale race at Daytona was an absolute roller coaster, just as expected by NASCAR insiders, drivers, and spectators alike. However, no one expected Kevin Harvick to knock it out of the park, considering that he didn’t win a single regular season race this season.

However, he held onto the lead by a hair’s breadth until the penultimate lap after leading the pack for a solid 14 laps. But little did he know that he would have to throw in the towel to Chris Buescher.

Now, in the midst of playoff fever, the official Stewart-Haas racing page recently dropped a light-hearted video showing Kevin Harvick looking at a picture of him and Tony Stewart, reminiscing about the olden days when the gang would hit the road together to attend drivers’ meetups.

While casting an eye on the photo in which Tony Stewart was sticking his tongue out, a cloud of nostalgia surrounded Harvick. He expressed, “Well, that’s just typical Tony. Always the entertainment, keeping things real and light.” He pretty much summed up their friendship.

“That’s pretty much how it goes. He always finds something entertaining, and I am the serious one. He used to always tell Eddie and I, he’s like, ‘You guys just go somewhere else; you guys go talk business somewhere else. I don’t want to be a part of it.’ He got tired of hearing what we were scheming up.”

Coming from someone who loves to pull pranks, it’s a tough pill to swallow that Tony Stewart was more fun than him, and instead, Harvick was the straight-laced one. As a matter of fact, there’s a whole different story to tell when it comes to one of the incidents where Kevin Harvick pulled a fast one on Tony Stewart.

Harvick played a practical joke on his boss

In a video dropped a month ago in which everyone was celebrating their time with Kevin Harvick, Tony Stewart spilled the beans about a crazy incident from their NASCAR days. Apparently, someone played a prank on him by tampering with his bedside clock and setting it ahead.

This sent Stewart into a frenzy, believing he had a mere 40 minutes to make it to the practice track. However, when he stepped out to have a chat with his drivers, he discovered that his clock had been set ahead by a whopping 2 hours. Tony had a hunch that it would be Kevin Harvick, given that his room was right next to Stewart’s.

And then, right after, Tony went to his room and took the bull by the horns by hopping into bed with DeLena (Kevin Harvick’s wife) in full gear.

Not to mention, both are quite the pranksters, but Kevin Harvick claiming to be the serious one might not sit well with all the NASCAR fans. What are your thoughts on this friendship? Drop us a line in the comments section.
